Dorothy & Moni, best friends and beauty industry pros, turned a personal skincare struggle into a powerful all-natural brand — and we’re proud to carry it right here at Time to Thrive.
It all started when Moni was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, leaving her skin incredibly dry and sensitive. Conventional products failed her, so she turned to her roots — literally — and began crafting oil-based remedies inspired by her Eastern European grandmother’s recipes. The result? A dramatic transformation that caught everyone’s attention.
Seeing the impact, Dorothy brought her business savvy to the table, helping launch what would become Lightning Bolt Skincare. With a shared mission to create clean, accessible, and truly effective skincare, the duo perfected their formula: the now beloved Oil Brew®.
